Coming Soon! Green Beverly to create Sustainability Exhibit in the Cummings Center

Green Beverly – Cummings Center

Green Beverly – Cummings Center

We are excited to announce that Green Beverly has just signed a lease for space in the Cummings Center to build a Sustainability Exhibit/Experience—a sustainability resource for Beverly residents and businesses that want to shift to be more environmentally friendly.

This physical space will work in conjunction with our digital presence and our pop-up displays to provide residents and businesses inspirational and resourceful sustainable solutions for homes and businesses. These solutions range from how we heat and cool our homes and businesses, generate clean energy, travel in more sustainable ways, purchase goods & services from sustainable businesses, create a network of sustainable indoor grow spaces to provide nutritious, pesticide and fertilizer free produce in New England—along with a host of other sustainable activities. The exhibit will be set up in such a way that anyone visiting will be able to leave with a few actionable items that they can start immediately.

As it truly does “take a village” or a community effort to move the needle on reducing our environmental impact, the exhibit will integrate information from across our entire community—our local businesses, our municipality, and our school systems.

We will be designing and building the exhibit over the next few months, so please follow us on our social channels (@greenbeverlyma on FB, Instagram, and Twitter) for regular updates as well as news of a Grand Opening date.

If you know of anyone that might be interested in helping with volunteer time, being a “coach” on a specific sustainability topic, being a strategic partner, or with a financial donation (Green Beverly is a nonprofit organization) please contact Dean Berg at dean.berg.m@gmail.com. From a volunteer perspective, we’re looking for people with the following skills/experiences: exhibit design, exhibit construction, graphic art, digital/social marketing, events marketing, fundraising, vendor relations, content creation, and videography.

Please stop by and visit us—even if we’re still in the build stage (starting July 1st).  We’d love to get your input and to hear your perspective. After July 1st, we’ll be located at 100 Cummings Center, Suite 107-Q.

Together we can create the best possible experience and provide eco-friendly best practices to all Beverly residents and businesses.
