Green Beverly is partnering with the Beverly Waste Reduction Committee and the Sustainability office of the City of Beverly on a weekend-long effort to give unwanted trash and recycling barrels a second life.

If you’ve got a container gathering dust, bring it by and swap it for something you can actually use, like a rain barrel or yard waste bin. Anything that doesn’t get claimed will go to local nonprofits so nothing goes to waste. This only works if the community shows up, and we mean that literally.
