Help us save our favorite local hiking spot! Invasive plants threaten the delicate ecosystems within J.C. Phillips. A BioBlitz will help us show where the forest needs the most assistance. Join us for the kickoff! (Can't attend? You can still collect data all year long!)

A BioBlitz is an event where attendees take photos and record sounds to catalog the animals and plants living in an area. You don’t need experience, just the free iNaturalist app and a camera phone!

Please download the iNaturalist app before you come!

Date: Sunday, May 31, 12pm - 4pm (RAIN DATE: Sunday, June 7th, same time)

Group #1 from 12:00 - 2:00pm for approx. 30 people

(If we have more than 30 we will open up group #2 which will start at 2:00pm - 4:00pm)
Location: Check in table at Community Garden 779 Cabot St. Beverly
(Please do not park in the Community garden. Parking available on LP Henderson Road, walk over to the community garden. Check in at back of parking lot.)

Extra opportunity: Green Beverly is offering a free review of your electric and gas bill. Let Green Beverly try to help you lower your utility bills - bring your bills to the event for a "check up!"
